I disagree, unless he uses an existing white zetsu and doesn't make his own, I guess it's okay. To make white zetsu requires a human life, that's why you can substitute for reanimation, and Shin Uchiha(s) have a will.

It does make sense realistically to have some form of way to talk to dead since the reanimation jutsu is a thing, and then peoples existing chakra can live on like with Naruto's parents or Black Zetsu. Unfortunate that is not the case here.
